Unhoused Neighbors world premiere shows at the San Antonio Film Festival

Thank you, San Antonio! Unhoused Neighbors made its world premiere last week at the 2026 San Antonio Film Festival!

We are so grateful to the San Antonio Film Festival for the opportunity to share stories of the unhoused community in Sacramento with filmmakers and film fans from around the country and reunite our production crew.

Unhoused Neighbors made its premiere Thursday, July 23rd at the historic Gunter Theater, and was invited back for a second screening at the Radius Center on Saturday.

The San Antonio Film Festival is South Texas’s largest annual cinema event, featuring independent feature films, short blocks, and documentaries.

The San Antonio Riverwalk is close by SAFILM sites – especially tempting at night when it cools off.
Marketing Director Denzel Castañon relocated from California to Texas since Unhoused Neighbors was in post-production, so he was able to drive to join the rest of the crew at the festival.
